Steel Knit coat rack

Imagined by the Japanese designer Jin Kuramoto, the Knit toffee coat rack edited by HAY relies on simple and emblematic lines and a distinctive sculptural design. Comprised of three lacquered steel pipes that are interconnected in a three-dimensional fashion, the pipes are securely "knitted" together to support each other and create body strength. Inspired by the tactile experience of touching materials and the experimental processes of folding and knitting metal cords and rods, Knit was developed as an extension of HAY's wardrobe and clothing hanging options. Featuring a high gloss finish, Knit can be used to add functionality and visual interest to entryways, hallways and walk-in closets!
