Anderssen & Voll sign for the Danish house And Tradition, the Pavilion chair, a refined and minimalist model. Highlighting the purity of the form, its tubular base, of exemplary finesse, underlines the seat and gives the chair an almost airy appearance. Also, it introduces a soft aesthetic and affirms a curvaceous silhouette that is barely present. Located in the grounds of Copenhagen's Kastellet Castle, overlooking the waterfront promenade which is home to the Little Mermaid, the Langelinie Pavilion is distinguished by a resilient spirit. The first Pavilion was built in 1885. Andersen & Voll's Pavilion chair echoes its own ability to last. The challenge here was to design a stackable chair used for mass receptions in this iconic and versatile venue. Available in several designs and now available in a contemporary chrome frame.
